App timer for Android

One app timer is useful. Different timers for different traps are better.

Come To lets you group selected apps under a shared timer and create additional timer profiles when different apps deserve different limits. It is built around active use of the apps you choose rather than a generic countdown that runs regardless of what you are doing.

Shared countdowns for apps that belong together

If YouTube and a social feed are part of the same scrolling habit, place them in one timer. Five minutes in one app plus five minutes in the other consume ten minutes from that shared limit.

This keeps the timer attached to the behavior instead of a single package name. Switching between apps does not magically reset the boundary.

02

Separate timers when the limits should be different

Not every app needs the same rule. Create another timer for a different app group and choose its own interval. You can give timers simple names such as Social, Videos or News so the setup remains understandable.

Each timer keeps its own remaining time. When you move to an app assigned to another timer, Come To shows the relevant timer rather than mixing the budgets.

03

Only count the apps you selected

Leaving a selected app pauses its active-use countdown. Time spent on your home screen, in an unrelated app or with the phone locked is not supposed to consume the selected timer.

This makes the timer more meaningful than a stopwatch you have to remember to start and stop manually.

Try the interruption, not another dashboard

Pick your apps. Pick your limit. Let the goose do the awkward part.

FAQ

Questions about app timer for android

Can Android have different timers for different apps?

Yes. Come To supports multiple timer profiles. Each profile can own its own set of selected apps and its own interval.

Can two apps share one timer?

Yes. Apps assigned to the same Come To timer share the same active-use budget.

Does the timer keep running when I switch to another app?

A timer counts selected-app use. When you move outside the apps assigned to that timer, the active-use countdown pauses until a relevant app is in use again.

What happens when the app timer reaches zero?

Come To displays its interruption reminder. You can step away or deliberately begin another interval.
